In times of hurt, joy, confusion or clarity I cling to what I know of God.
He binds up wounds.
" If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ,then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land" 2 Chronicles 7:14
He heals.
"He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness the prisoners." Isaiah 61:1He revives.
"to revive the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the contrite" Isaiah 57:15He hears me.
"You heard from heaven and in your compassion you delivered them time after time" Nehemiiah 9:29He will restore and sustain.
"to restore me the joy of Your salvation and grant me and willing spirit to sustain me" Psalm 51:12He won't leave me dry or without what I need.
"The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. " Isaiah 58:11He will never leave me.
"but You are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them." Nehemiah 9:17
"but He will heal us...but He will bind up our wounds.
After two days He will revive us; and on the third day He will restore us,
that we may live in His presence. Let us press on to acknowledge
the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him.
As surely as the sun rises, He will appear;
He will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring that rains that
waters the Earth"
Hosea 6:1-3
